Terms of service

The agreement between you and s-work when you use the app and this site.

Last updated 13 September 2026

The short version

  • s-work is a private tool for running your own business. It keeps your clients, bookings and messages in one place. We never introduce you to clients, and we aren't an agency, an ad site or a payment service.
  • You must be 21 or over, working for yourself, somewhere sex work is legal or decriminalised.
  • The beta is free. Before it ends we'll agree a fair price with our users, and we'll tell you before anything is charged.
  • Flags you share with other workers have to be honest. They're there to keep people safe, not to settle scores.
  • Your data belongs to you. Our privacy policy explains what we hold and who can read it.

Who we are

s-work ("s-work", "we", "us") is a private entity based in Geneva, Switzerland.

Who can use s-work

To use the app you must:

  • be at least 21 years old
  • run your own sex work business as an independent worker (s-work isn't for agencies, managers, or anyone handling another person's bookings without that person's direct consent)
  • work in a country or region where sex work is legal or decriminalised

We may ask you to confirm any of these. If an account doesn't meet them, we may close it.

What s-work is and isn't

s-work stores and organises the clients, bookings and conversations you already have.

  • We never introduce you to a client. We aren't a directory, a listing site or an advertising platform.
  • We aren't your agent, and we're not a party to any booking. Your prices, arrangements and decisions are yours.
  • We don't handle payments between you and your clients, and we never take a cut.
  • We can't check what a client tells you, and we aren't responsible for how a booking goes.
  • The safety tools help, but they can't guarantee anyone's safety. Keep doing the things that keep you safe now.

Your account

Keep your login to yourself. If you think someone else has access to your account, email info@s-work.app straight away. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

Using s-work fairly

You must not use s-work to:

  • involve anyone under 18, or anyone who isn't working by their own choice
  • manage, control or profit from another person's sex work
  • harass, threaten or expose anyone, clients included
  • break the law where you or they are
  • get into someone else's account or data, or break or overload the service

If you see s-work being used for exploitation, tell us at info@s-work.app. You don't have to give your name.

The safety network

When you flag a client, other workers who check that client can see the reason, your comment, a city and the alias you picked. They can't see your account, your name or your email. s-work admins can see who made a flag so they can remove false or abusive ones. The client's details are never shared: another worker only finds a flag if they already have the same phone number, email or handle.

  • Only flag what you went through yourself or know to be true.
  • Stick to what happened. Leave out names, addresses and other identifying details beyond the contact the flag is attached to.
  • If you use the same alias every time, people reading your flags can tell they came from one person. Pick your alias with that in mind.
  • If you delete your account, your flags stay in the network but the link to you is removed. Withdraw any flags you want gone before you delete.
  • We may remove a flag that breaks these rules, and close the account of anyone who misuses the network.

Your channels

When you connect WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal or email, s-work sends and receives messages for you, and only sends when you tell it to. Each of those services has its own rules, and you're responsible for following them.

  • Our WhatsApp connection isn't an official WhatsApp product, and WhatsApp could restrict or ban a number connected this way. Use a number you can afford to lose.
  • If you run WhatsApp through the s-work app on your own laptop, it only works while that laptop is on and online.

AI features

Some features, like suggested replies, send the recent messages from one conversation to our AI provider, Anthropic, to write a suggestion. They only run when you ask. Suggestions can be wrong, so read them before you send anything. The privacy policy says exactly what is sent.

The beta and fees

s-work is in beta. Things will change, some features aren't finished, and sometimes the service will be down. Don't rely on s-work as your only record of anything important.

The beta is free. We haven't set a price for after the beta. We'll decide it with our users and tell you before anything is charged. We'll never charge you without your agreement.

Your data and your key

What you put into s-work belongs to you. You let us store and process it only so we can run the service for you. The privacy policy explains how we handle it and is part of these terms.

You may keep records about other people, such as clients, safety contacts and people who send you enquiries. Only record what you need for your work and your safety, and keep it accurate.

Your records are encrypted with a key that only you hold. Keep your recovery phrase somewhere safe. If you lose it, nobody can recover your encrypted data: not you, not us, not anyone. We aren't responsible for data lost that way.

Closing an account

You can close your account at any time by emailing info@s-work.app.

We may pause or close an account if you break these terms, stop meeting the rules above, put someone else at risk, or if the law requires it. When it's safe to, we'll tell you why. A paused account can't be used until we restore it.

Liability

During the beta we provide s-work as it is. We don't promise it will always be available or free of errors. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses from using it. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Governing law

Swiss law governs these terms, and the courts of Geneva hear any dispute. If you live in the EU or the UK, you keep the consumer protections your own country gives you.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
